Music Class

By exploring different musical styles from around the world, children experience and learn important foundational music skills—such as rhythm, beat, tempo, and melody—through singing, dancing, movement, and instrument exploration activities. This not only lays the groundwork for future music learning, but also supports the development of children’s motor skills, social skills, emotional growth, language, and intelligence.

Why Music?
Research shows that even while still in the womb, fetuses can remember songs or sounds they have heard, and by five months old, babies can remember the sequence of music played and notice changes in pitch, melody, and rhythm. The activities in Music class promote babies’ all-round development.
Through a variety of instruments, props, and engaging activities, babies enhance their musical memory, support language development, and experience musical elements such as rhythm and beat through musical games, accumulating a wealth of musical experiences. Listening to lullabies from around the world soothes babies’ emotions and deepens the bond between you and your child.

Why Music?
16 - 28 Months
At this stage, babies are in a sensitive period for physical movement (sensory development), making it the best time to establish a stable sense of rhythm. Having a stable sense of rhythm reflects a child’s self-stability and ability to manage time—skills that are important for learning when they enter school. Music Class offers lively and engaging musical activities, allowing you and your baby to experience different musical styles from around the world.
Through singing, dancing, movement, games, and instrument exploration, babies will learn basic musical concepts such as rhythm, beat, tempo, and melody, laying a foundation for future music learning. During music listening and appreciation activities, babies develop a stable sense of rhythm, explore differences in sound quality, and simultaneously promote holistic development in physical, social-emotional, cognitive, memory, and language skills.
Why Music?
28 Months - 5 years old
At this stage, children are in a sensitive period for language, making it the best time to develop and strengthen their language abilities. Regardless of whether children will receive formal music education in the future, accurate pitch recognition is an essential musical skill. It also helps stabilize their ability to focus on listening and supports the development and maturity of oral muscles, all of which contribute to language development.
Music Class offers specially designed musical activities to enhance and challenge various skills, allowing children to embark on their own journey of musical exploration. Group movement, singing, and finger rhymes help children build confidence, self-esteem, and lay the foundation for social skills.
We encourage children to express themselves through music. By interacting with, exploring, and playing different instruments, children are inspired to create music, use their imagination, and improve their listening skills. A variety of fun instruments and music CDs in various styles create a rich and colorful musical world for children!
